Background
Cliff Strobe CEO started at the #1 ad agency in the world, J Walter Thompson Agency. After working on a few years of working on select prestigious accounts decided to venture into 'Party Giving'. After a brief stint as a professional musician Cliff decided to form a business on January 12, 1979. Originally called Cliff Strobe Productions it grew and produced events at the Marc Ballroom, Demerara, UN Plaza and Waterside Cafe. In 2000 Cliff Strobe Productions formally changed it's name to Black Velvet Rope Entertainment LLC. As a Limited Liability Company it began to canvas and work with the larger companies such as Alize', Crown Royal, Pipers Champagne, Remy Amerique and Taittinger Champagne and hosted such prestigious events at the Puck Building. In addition on a media scale, worked with Universal Pictures on 'HULK' and produced the hot music video show, Music Video Live on MusicVideoLive.com. Presently Black Velvet Rope provides a variety or entertainment via it's core websites; BlackVelvetRope.com, HipHopBunny.com(Launching Soon), MusicVideoLive.com and UrbanBadBoy.com(Launching Soon).
